Serving is one of our core values at Christchurch and there are many different opportunities for getting involved. It’s a great way to make a difference, reflect the love of Jesus in practical ways, build community, and feel connected to the mission of the church.
Explore how God has shaped you to serve
We offer the opportunity of taking a fresh look at how God has shaped you to serve Him in what we call The SHAPE course.
Over two evenings you’ll look at the acronym S.H.A.P.E. which summarises 5 ways that God is shaping us to serve others within the church and in the wider world (your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality & Experiences in life).
At each session you’ll be introduced to the different elements of your SHAPE profile and the tools available to help you explore and discover your unique shape for ministering God’s grace. There will be a team of people available to guide you through the process and where appropriate help you connect with a ministry leader.
