We have an Ecochurch Team that look to implement changes and make recommendations to the Leadership on how we can be more Eco-friendly.

In 2017 we received our Bronze Ecochurch award from A Rocha. We looked at different areas of our church life including how much we prayed or taught on issues relating to creation care, as well as some practical things like installing bird boxes and using reusable cups. In wanting to keep moving forward in the different areas of Worship, Lifestyle, Community, Buildings, and Land, we have a plan for silver which we hope to achieve in 2022, and for Gold in 2023.

Here are some of the goals we are working on for the silver award, with specifics arising from each goal as we understand more about our carbon footprint, energy use, and opportunities in our congregations and in the community.
